Dr. Nancy Curotto has been in private practice for over 18 years and assisting individuals and families coping with anticipated loss, death, and mourning. Pet loss and bereavement has been one of her specialties. She received her doctorate in clinical psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and a certification in Pet Loss and Bereavement from the Assocation of Pet Loss and Bereavement, in 2009.
My treatment style is interactive and specially tailored to each client. I bring to the clinical setting, specifically pet loss or anticipated loss, focused treatment, years of mindfulness study/practice, I'm EMDR certified, I hold a certification in Telemedicine, and I'm a life coach. These skills have significantly supported my work with clients coping with different stages of pet loss/bereavement.
Talking about your loss and processing your feelings can start the recovery process.
