Dr. Nancy Curotto has been in private practice for over 20 years, assisting individuals and families with anticipated loss, death, and mourning. Pet loss and grief have been one of her specialties. She received her doctorate in clinical psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and a certification in Pet Loss and Bereavement from the Association of Pet Loss and Bereavement and is a Grief Educator.
My treatment style is interactive and specially tailored to each client. I bring to the clinical setting, specifically pet loss or anticipated loss, focused treatment, and years of mindfulness study/practice. I'm a licensed clinical psychologist and certified in EMDR therapy and Solution Focus Brief Therapy. I'm a grief educator and a life coach. These skills have significantly supported my work with clients in various pet loss/grief stages.
Talking about your loss and processing your feelings can start the recovery process.
