Dr. Nancy Curotto has been in private practice for over 25 years, assisting individuals and families with anticipated loss, death, and mourning. Pet loss and grief have been one of her specialties. She received her doctorate in clinical psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and a certification in Pet Loss and Bereavement from the Association of Pet Loss and Bereavement, and is a Grief Educator.
My treatment style is interactive and specially tailored to each client. I bring a focused approach to the clinical setting, specifically in the context of pet loss or anticipated loss, informed by years of mindfulness study and practice. I'm a licensed clinical psychologist, certified in EMDR therapy and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. I'm a grief educator and a life coach. These skills have significantly supported my work with clients at various stages of pet loss and grief.
